i think i read 2/3 year old plants produce most fruit and then they get woody.

Help! What's wrong with my chilli plant?

They will most likely have caused the problem then, more will appear, just be vigilant with the bugs.

On the note fo the plant, it looks very small and most of mine have already gone past there best, assuming your in the uk? i guess you started them very late?

Over wintering plants

I have a couple of Dahlias i will be overwintering in the spare room, i dont think this is the correct way to do Dahlias, i think you are supposed to lift and store.

Here is the link to the RHS guide on Dahlias

Hibiscus Cuttings

Posted: 04/10/2013 at 13:15

Hi,

I took some cuttings from a couple of hibiscus around the time it was suggested on various websites (September)

The leaf on each cutting has yellowed and dropped off on nearly all of them, i assume it has now failed to take?  The actual source plant has started to yellow and drop leaves, which i understand is normal behaviour.

So are the cutting dead? i assume it needs the leaf the feed the plant to make roots.
