Is this a bottle brush plant

I took a cutting of this plant to the local garden centre, they said it was a Bottle Brush, it's nothing  like the bottle brushes I saw in Australia when I lived there, also it has never had a brush on it.

Thanks for your reply, but I am certain its  not Callistemon Citrinus, the leaves are much slimmer and pointed, I will take a photograph and put it on GW.

Bottle Brush

Is there more than one type of Bottle Brush Plant, I took a piece of mine to the garden centre who identified it as a bottlebrush, having lived in Australia with hundreds of bottlebrushes, mine is nothing like the ones I saw there. Its more like a a coarse grass with stems covered in thin pointed leaves, there is some red at the end of each branch but no flowers.

Clematis

How can I tell which clematis I have, I believe they fall into 3 groups, there were 5 in the garden when when I moved in.   I cut them all very short at the end of last year  but I think I got it wrong as 2 have not yet produced any buds or flowers and one produced one very large double frilly lilac and white flower at the bottom, but so far no more..

Worm cast & Mushrooms on Lawn

Thanks for all the advice, my mushrooms are yellow ones, brown ones and white ones, non of them look like the supermarket variety, so I guess I will just enjoy looking at them as they are rather pretty.

What's for tea?

OH having chicken curry, well it's Saturday so its curry, I am having an Asda ready meal, I love curry but it doesn't love me, so I always have to have something else. This sounds really boring compared to your meal bjay, so I will have to have extra wine to compensate
