A lot of leaf salads -lettuce,radishes,spring onions-you could try tomatoes but no guarantees

All will need light

Not really-grass will germinate at its own rate-I would not be sowing just yet even in Wiltshire -still a bit too cold

A general fertilizer will do pre-sowing don't go spending a fortune on anything else

It was not the coldest March ever-this weather is not as unusual as is being made out-however

The best thing you can do is to take a picture -post that we all know what stage these have reached -then we can advise what to do next

The old dahlia stem should be cut off down to just above the tuber

Any thing that is marked hardy can tolerate frost-any thing marked half-hardy can't and needs protection till at least Mid-May

Check the label what does it say?

Antirrhinums are hardy

Are these seedlings or plants??

Seedlings will need growing on to develop a good root system before planting out.

They will not grow in the packets-anything that is on sale now-probably with the exception of dahlias -needs planting

Honestly it is not that cold-this is very common at this time of year-do not believe all you read

Verdun-I found this comment her about David unnecessary

But then this constant carping about who presents GW is always contentious

Sorry Verdun-people snapping at each other over a tv programme doesn't strike me as harmonious

Someone calling someone else a moany old git-harmonious?

Someone calling their neighbour obnoxious-not pleasant

This place is not was it was-and he has nothing do to with the weather
