Putting cold tea on plants is something that my granny used to do-but times change-tea-pots are a dying species,tea-bags came in and cups rather than pots of tea are made- and we buy plant-food-so who has cold tea?

I am new to this site and mostly just finding my way around, reading posts etc Ernie.

II dont understand why these odd comments are addressed to me? I thought my email address was public and wanted to delete that, I still do!

Your e-mail address is not public-can you see mine?

You can't delete your e-mail address -it is needed to sign on-but no-one on the forum can see it

The opening post was about completely deleting an account on here which you can't do-hence the phrase don't use it then -but wouldn't listen to reason

I still don't understand what you are trying to do-but can't-perhaps you could explain?

The backlash will arrive in around10 days

Off to knock a white ball about a bit and occasionally into a small hole-looks like a nice morning for it

It is an odd phenomenon

If you have to get up to go to work-you will stay in bed till the last possible moment-if you don't have to get up you wake up early and can't go back to sleep again

Anyway animals don't feed themselves and someone has to make the coffee~~~~~

Which I shall do in a minute-then go back to bed

I think those people will leave their homes Becks-that long without power sounds like a nightmare

I can remember power cuts of 4 hours during the miners strike-that was bad enough -but 30 hours

I think it would help if you gave an idea of scale and what sort of garden and shrubs you would like-a picture is also helpful

Soil type is not always crucial
