There have been a lot of topics on fungi in the last few weeks-it is just the time of year and they go as quickly as they appear-you can pick them off and bin them if it is a concern.

They really are the most horrible things -saw one on a wall yesterday and have just remembered -it is not there now which means it could be anywhere

I am not convinced that they do that much good- and if they do the bad aspects outweigh the good

Becks -what happens in your household on Decembe 25th?

Weather forecasting Dean it has been decreed that any weather forecaster who gets it wrong should serve a bit of time-I have predicted a long hot Summer of 2013 -if wrong want to go to Dartmoor as curious what life is like on the inside-if you can't do the time......................... etc.etc

Now after that explanation need entertaining this evening as OH is off swimming for the third time today and I have to record Holby-again

Which bulbs did you grow?

I find that slugs seem to go for tulips ,daffodils-could that have been the cause?

Do you take any precautions for slug/snail attack?

There is a narcissus fly but that does the damage after flowering-not sure that many insects go for spring flowers to the point of eating them

Sausage, egg and chips-the eggs come from our own chickens- so in a way from the garden

Last week didn't someone find 10 in a pot?-I just think you have been lucky-mind you if you have destroyed them in previous years you may just have broken the cycle-don't hold your breath though-they will be back
