Fork Handles

My MIL would save all christmas paper, iron, and put it away for the next year.

A bad look is bare leg between trouser and sock-especially white, old, hairy leg.

Commencing armholes sounds like a military order

-ok chaps- going in- just commencing armholes.

Was it an experience to be repeated again soon Flo?

Why would you wish it to rain on Emmerdale-will nobody think of the children?

Perhaps a picture would help?

There is a live episode of Emmedale tonight-they are hoping for a dry evening as is not studio based and is going to involve a lot of outside scenes

One of the actors said yesterday the figures will go up as people will just sit there looking for mistakes

Don't dig my gladdys up-some do-and they still come back each year

There was a time of bry-nylon that advertised the non-iron shirt-also nylon sheets-the worse thing known to man

Sounds like a plan to me-it will be slightly warmer so you may find they will be earlier- is the idea that once they are poking through to put them outside?

As for the other part-are you referring to hyacinths?- that is how they are usually grown for the indoors-I wouldn't say they are sitting on top of the compost but they are not buried

Does any body know what they did in the olden days- say Merlin's time- about creased clothes?

-is ironing a recent phenomenon?

It is nice when the kids find their feet and are happy in their world

You never feel there is a clique unless you are not in it. And by rude I mean terse, snippy even or abrupt and those that are, are usually telling others to lighten up. Just my impression/experience of this site that's all. Doesn't stop me looking atm.

I asked Verdun to lighten up-and will not apologise for that-I repeat this is just a gardening forum-but doesn't have to be serious or just about gardening-it is what you make it

Sometmes the short answer is more helpful-does that make them terse, snippy or abrupt?

As for a clique if you are referring to the long running chat thread- there is no clique all- are welcome to join in and many do.
