Forced ones are quite expensive -If it were me I would continue down the economic road-they will flower in the new year after all

Panettone is 'orrible

The greenhouse is clean and shiny, houseplants back indoors, autumn duvet on bed, shorts still on ,no heating

My big worry now is that this choir will turn into Sister Act-who will play the Whoopi part?

Am trying to get the shading paint of the greenhouse-I think I may have put it on to thickly-it is hard going and have nipped in for a respite.

I have found that the £50 note is actually a 50 lira note -so is worth about 4d

The choir could be called the SWOFTIES with guest artistes-(for those who are not)

I would say it is the classification-I would not regard sunflowers as a hardy annual but T&M do- but still say plant out after the risk of frost-so that I would class a half-hardy surely?

It is no wonder people get confused-in my mind a hardy annual can be sown now and will survive the winter-but then if the seed companies class something as hardy and it isn't....................
