Holland-very expensive the fuel is the dearest we came across -in Spain1.54 or so in France 1.62 in Holland 1.88-we were only there for 24 hours did a quick trip to Amsterdam it rained, stank of cannabis and saw a dubious young lady-bought a few bits and completed the last leg-so can't give a qualified opinion of the country -people seemed friendly-we had great help at the station -most spoke understandable English but not sure I would return.

UPLOADING PICTURES

There seems to be a problem with uploading pictures using the direct link option-this has been reported as a bug and hopefully will be fixed soon.

http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/site-feedback/new-site---bugs/1423-6.html

I have found you can still upload pictures by using the external site option from a photo sharing site like flickr or photobucket by clicking on "external site" and posting the link

It is an alternative until the bug is fixed

Try uploading from a photo sharing site like flicker or photo bucket-you can use the tree icon-click on external site and paste the link

It is still working for me-for example

Hello FC-I was in Amstleeven last week-waved and shouted but you ignored me

I can hold out for a few weeks more yet-before the autumn wardrobe -might put a heavier duvet on the bed though

Morning all-the sun is still shining so the jogging bottoms are not being brought out just yet-I must be a hardier southern softy

A better XF last night in my opinon-I am being sucked in again-fell asleep at the end of Downton-I know we are supposed to think it is wonderful but it is still a posh soap.

Lovely flower Pam

I have quite a few double coloured Geraniums that have given me a wonderful display this summer (what little we've had of one that is) so I shall most certainly be giving this a go later on today, Fingers crossed they survive ok in the greenhouse over winter.

In an unheated greenhouse they will not survive

Thanks for your reply but I haven't seen any flowers on the plant like those that shown in the example for Himalayan Balsam.

The leaves on the plant in my garden are similiar but there are no flowers. There are no flowers on the plant that I have in my garden either the ones that seem to develop on the Himalayan balsam or Japanese knowweed.

I can see that if you click the tree symbol you can up load an image but i can see that this isn't working. How long has this been happening?

I am very keen to get this plant idnetified. It doesn't seem to grow as quickly as that suggested by the details I have read about Japanese knotweed but it seems quite fast.

I keep saying this- but once again if you upload from an external  photo sharing site site like photobucket or flicker you can post a picture still using the tree icon-it is only the direct load that has been out of action for the past couple of days
