Lawn condition

Grass fertilizer will kill a rabbit if it eats the grass-don't think it does the same to a chicken-but to be on the safe side-I don't let mine out if I have treated the lawn-they peck all the grass anyway

I would suggest just not mixing the two for a few weeks

Hardening off flower seedlings in plastic greenhouse

Hi

From you pics they will not need pricking out- but are still a bit small to go outside yet- outside daytime -inside at night is the way to go for the next few weeks

This is always the awkward time of of year

Too bad-there is a spell checker-nothing do with academics qualifications at all.

You need to prick these out first-then you harden them off-new seedlings are tender creatures- any shock will killl them

There's sun shining and I really need to get the grass cut, but there was a thick frost last night and it's still chilly. Will I damage the grass if I cut it now?

Well do not cut if it has frost on it-give it a light trim with the blades set high then gradually lower the blades at each cut over the coming weeks

Never scalp it

Oh no. Another series with Monty Don building his utterly boaring Garden at Licence payers expense.  His garden is nothing like any one elses Garden I know and dose not reflect howweoldbuild our gardens. Unlie past presenters he wallows in self gratification of Long Meadows. If it was not for the likes of Carol or Joe the program would be a black hole in the Gardening caleda. Every time you see his garden many pounds have been spent on Greenhouse, paths and neumerous goodies. He his building his garden at our expense.

There is an off switch-that is spelt SWITCH-I have yet to see a boar in his garden-must have missed that bit

Extracting the bladder water from someone less intellectually equipped, isn't very clever or funny!

If people are old enough to come on here and right nonsense -then they have to up with comments

Dear David-class monitor as well now-go out in the sunshine and lighten up-what is your problem??

I used to like you input bit now you are becomimg boaring
