Sorry- getting my memories mixed up-need green tea again
Kate-I am such a peasant
Glynis Johns of course- sort of fragile looking lady-wasn't she in a lot of English comedy films-Genevieve?
Then you will be Glyn-that is easier and friendlier
I don't think I have known a Glynis before- this is a night for firsts-I have learnt so much this week.
I am still here in Southampton-don't go on hols for a couple of weeks-but the preparations have started.
Kate-all the English stuff the car can carry-I like the country but am not sure I am yet able to fully embrace le culture
KG-how are the french beans doing?
Ppetal-can we call you something shorter?
Don't think I have ever tasted asparagus either-oh dear
I let the chickens roam in the winter as well-then reseed the bare patches in the spring-they make a bit of a mess but I can live with it.
So what does samphire taste like?-and don't say samphire
Plastic drink cups,yogurt pots-
look on freecycle-I often see flowerpots being given away.
Ppetal what is samphire?-I have never heard of it
Becks -yes sparklers- but not whizz-bangs
It is going to be a place that wont get a lot of natural light-so you would need to go for leafy plants-I have a corner that has a cheeseplant and a rubber plant
Here are a few more ideas
