I would like to get the ball anywhere in the open rather than the long squelchy grass-saw two deer again the other day- and am playing again on Friday

I am in training-what vitamin drinks do you recommend?

Probably-that heptathlete is a junior champion so gets a chance on the bigger stage with J Ennis-her moment is in 4 years-it is probably considered part of the training programme-if you don't compete then the whole thing might seem a waste of time.

That is the same for all sporting events-FA Cup,Wimbledon etc most are there just to make up the numbers with no real chance of winning-it could be that without entering they dont get international funding-this is the stuff that goes on behind the scenes??

There is an solution that I have posted before but got told off for cruelty to ants-but the boiling water trick kills them instantly if not nicely

The thing is Pam -what do they do when the career is over there are only a few media opportunities and they ar'nt full time-and these people don't know anything else

Which is why many older footballers bought pubs and spectacularly failed

It has all changed most of the top athletes are full time and don't have day jobs-the lines have become blurred, there are sponsors to ensure they don't starve but there is no prize money -that is the unique thing

Footballers have an age restriction-only so many over 23??

Golf is in Rio 2016-that would make a nice trip
