Are you keeping the same plants to flower again?

The reason I ask is if you treat as bi-enniel and discard after flowering then raise fresh ones for flowering the following year -that might work

My impression is that rust resistant varieties partially resist it -but the conditions this year have been ideal for rust and the spores do remain in the soil

Alina usually has some good advice on this-hopefully she will pick it up

Because we live in a close -we do notice strange cars or people-OH often says who is that parking there or there?Nothing much gets unnoticed

Another prospect gone-there is ladies dive-bombing on now

I'll assume you are talking flowering plants-I would forget about sowing seed until next soring if you are a novice-instead around late August/September spring flowering bulbs will start appearing in the shops-you can make up some containers for next year -flowers will appear mid-feb onwards

They are virtually guaranteed and foolproof

Or are you talking about something to eat?

I think for most people the lympics is about athletics and swimming-all this other stuff is just a curtain raiser to the main events-so take what is given -in a sense we could all win something at running or swimming but archery, horse riding, shooting,gymnastics- even cycling- is another thing

Running for a bus could be a winner
