I haven't misted them-but they look healthy enough -they are sitting on moist peat-why this one succumbed I don't know-I can see the fly -there is a fly buzzing around because the windows are open-I shall point him in the right direction

Yes-do it now-keep them well watered until they are established

6 wallflowers in one basket-that is a big basket

I never claim to be normal

-has anyone got any tomatoes showing the glimpse of ripening-this excludes Pam-we are all going there for supplies in the middle of the night

All my bargain plants from my trips to B& Q are flowering the petunias, nemesia ,begonias-and the 20 or so geraniums that I paid a £1 for are showing flower buds

Almost worth wearing beige for

Jean -one of my 40p pitcher plants had shrivelled up and the roots are brown -the other 2 still seem ok though-I think that might be my punishment

Wallflowers in a basket sounds a novel idea-but surely you would only need one-I might try that for the spring-I think the basil would get swamped or rot-doesn't like too much water

Watered last night -got nothing to do now-my runners are covered with beans -really pleased about that -tomatoes absolute crap

Now the spell checker isn't working-what is it with this site and I get that run-error message

Will wander round the grounds and get the chickens up-all quiet on the western front
