Picket fence using pallet tops

Andy

I have read your post again and is it you want to make a fence out of a pallet?

Just google pallet suppliers if that is the case-you should find them in you area.

Leaving the garden to itself for a year - what to plant?

Posted: 10/07/2012 at 19:35

Oh dear -this going to sound so pessimistic but unless you have someone to look after it no matter what you plant will go rampant or get eaten or run too seed-you only need to take a holiday for a fortnight to see how much mess a garden can into -but months -that is asking for trouble-and just when all the weeds starting to grow.

I have one suggestion which goes against gardening completely -why not just cover the area in weed suppressing membrane -it will look awful but not as bad as the jungle you could have

Perhaps others will have positive ideas

Andy this isn't a direct line to the GW programme as such-perhaps if you could be more specific- because- and I may be alone in this-  I do not understand what it is you are after-when was the programme on and what do you mean by "market a picket fence"

If you make it clearer someone might be able to point you in the right direction

It is odd how when you pinch the tops out they still keep growing upwards-about 75% have climbed the summit

You could have a new chum rat- or perhaps Mr and Mrs P will adopt

Lottie is the rat a new plot holder?

My french beans have finally started to climb and have just started pinching out the tops on the runners
