Probably they are mediterranean plants so this just might be too much-over the years the same has happened to me-if you have any healthy green shoots take cuttings now-dead easy and will root in no time

Then they are seedlings which makes that it more likely that one is a sycamore-if they are close to your boundary I fear for that wall and the roots are in your garden-I would advise that you take action to have them removed-is it private or council land?

These are big trees.

It is so miserable -I am miserable-the weather man said the jet-stream shows no sign or moving north any time soon

They are playing at Wimbledon yet it has been drizzling here since 8-it is on its way.

There is only 9 weeks to September-getting very depressed

I wouldn't do that just yet-just cut off the the damaged stem and keep a watchful eye-had a similar thing on one of mine a few weeks back and the rest of the plants is still ok.

You may not have clicked on "save changes" on your settings page-have just done a slight alteration on mine as an experiment and it worked for me
