I like the bingo cards-what about a good time to score -1 minute before half time-or a bad time to concede a goal-1 minute before half time?

Am already warming up

I have a sad mouse story-one was spotted the other day -ran into the chicken pen and got killed- chicken tried to eat it but we got it out of its mouth

There are slug pellets round the beans but it was cut off an inch from the ground-have just found a snail in broad daylight up one of the runner bean canes-it went on a flying holiday

I may be drawn to telly football tonight- the alternatives are not tempting-come on the Romans

What is this Leaf please

There is also an alternative way that doesn't involve resizing-upload the picture to an external site like photo bucket-click on direct link- that copies the url and post that on the external site part when you click on the tree icon.

Propagating Fuchsias in water

Just take cuttings in the normal way-cutting just below a leaf-node-put some cling-film over a glass of water-that supports the cutting-push it through a hole-in a few weeks it will make roots.

It is important at the first sign of rooting to pot into compost and not leave them in the water.

At least this way you know you have a rooting cutting

The bacon all went on solstice morning along with the druid rolls-you missed out.

Roy thinks it will be a 50/50game and in the group stages you need a draw or a result-who makes these phrases up?

I have lost a bean overnight -I suspect a mouse

And does anyone know whether we'll get Gardener's World on during the Olympics or will it be cancelled as for the football etc?

BBC1 and BBC3 are supposed to be the main Olympic channels-leaving BBC2  and 4 for normal programming-of course that may mean some BBC1 programmess might get moved to BBC2-Eastenders?-so some programmes will not be shown-also GW usually takes a Summer break-so who knows?

It pained again in the night but that might be it until mid-week..

GK-their pain is your pain-a pain shared is a pain halved-that is all I know

I have a vision of Jo doing the dance of the seven snails whilst munching on soya bread-not sure if that is a good or bad thing-could we have a photo?

How can Spain afford a football team?

Alison-don't take it to heart a lot of us are from the now-defunct BBC board and this was a repetitive topic that did get hammered to death and in retrospect I was a bit harsh with the "old chestnut" comment

Do join in on other discussions-most posters on here a really a friendly bunch- please share your experiences of gardening in Scoland with us southern softies

Kate-I don't mind mixing with the plebs occasionally-just as long as I am not expected to carry out a conversation
