Jo-click on first unread post at the top of the page-doesn't always work though-have scattered more slug pellets around my emerging beans-I hope they are hungry

Runner beans slow as well Lottie

Kate -was that Daisy Cottage?-they probably needed the publicity by the sound of it.

The washing is on a yo-yo-wind and rain and sunshine

I am looking for a medium sized evergreen flowering shrub to replace my Choisya which I have had to remove. The site is facing east so does have a problem with early morning frost particularly in the springtime.

You will be better off starting a new thread- your question will get lost on this one about clover.

Well spotted.

Though Daniel Haynes posted a message to the effect that the problem had been fixed, a few minutes before you posted yours.

I know- that appeared whilst I was typing-and you edited you original message Gary-you could just have let me have my moment in the sun

Can you just do one more check-that would be helpful

I think the police and the portaloo thing is a bit of a red herring-ever few years they skip a year and then demand increases for the following year-a bit of a marketing strategy in my opinion

A bean has popped though the soil more than 2 weeks after sowing-that shows how much the ground temperature has gone down- the first lot were through within a few days-we do need a long warm sunny spell-who do I write to?

It is a very expensive stretch of water and my speedboat is in dry dock or of course I would be there like a shot-might go up the ladder later so I can do a live report from the scene

Did anyone see the the field at Glastonbury? it is all green grass and it is about now that the festival takes place- good job that was not on this year

Something better has been promised for next week-I cannot finalise my day out until I know it is going to be dry day-just in case Cliff is around and wants me to join in.

Being towed on to the site sounds bad enough-but how are they going to get them off again when everybody will want to leave at once?
