Flo-I have nothing to do and could don the superman costume, fly down and get the wallpaper off in minutes but that would be mean and deprive you of the pleasure-so won't.

Ironical how the rain capital of England is basking in sunshine whereas I need me waders

Moving anything at this time of year is tricky-and it is in the lap of the gods whether it will survive or not-dig a big area out around the tree and get it out without disturbing the root ball too much-have the spot you want to put in it ready first, keep well watered and everything crossed -you might get way with it

Good luck

I am hoping to play around on Thursday-what are my chances?

What's the weather like in your area?

It is raining and it is not going to stop today and might even get thunder

It will be a "look we are all human and do silly things at times" story-someone from the pub must have blabbed.

Now put your football pundit hat on and predict a score

Didn't see Miss B waving from behind a head stone from Lewis this morning

Talkback: Gazania and rudbeckia pot display

Posted: 11/06/2012 at 09:46

I can only relate my experience of gazanias planted in my garden-they have survived 2 winters-looked a bit tatty earlier in the year but after a tidy up  they are now fine-same goes for 3 in a container that got left out all winter too-they seem to be described as half-hardy yet I am treating them as hardy perennials-so make of that what you will.

Just for the record this is in Southampton- but we had snow, ice etc

Hype is on the telly-reverse psychology being used- not expected to do well so if they do- that is a Brucie bonus

Cleaning pots or not

They will- but to be on the safe side if you are using them for seed sowing them I would say yes,you don't want some nasty breeding in a nice warm propogator-probably not so vital for potting on established plants.
