It is a variety of hibiscus but that one is not a hardy one-you will need to lift it in the Autumn and bring indoors

We had a police chopper circling over head earlier-don't know what they were looking for but it was like those motorway cops thing-I ran indoors in case they spotted me

That edit thing has still not been fixed.

Right- my feeling is one has not ventured into the surrounding ground whereas the other has and the poorly one is suffering from lack of nutrients etc.

My suggestion would be to carefully dig it up -if you find the roots are still confined to the original root-ball tease them out, enrich the soil, replant perhaps in another spot and keep well-watered
