Ground elder! Advise urgently needed!! Help

I hve been trying for 8 years to get rid of it and it still sprouts up.. I have tried weedkillers, digging, matting everything. i have all bar 5% eradicated it it's persistence persistance I'm afraid and it will take more than a year to get rid..

try Uvularia grandiflora I have just planted some in a shady spot and what a charming plant for early spring summer. RHS trials have had great results under trees...

I grew them last year fab looking but all got blossom end rot, think I got 1 and wasn't that fussed with the flavour

If as dove says they are bare patches in the lawn then yes... But a lot of the wildflower seeds do need cold to germinate.... so you may be better off sourcing plugs....

Morning all ..... Lovely sunny morning here wooohoooo. Husband has promised my lo to put her paddling ( more like swimming pool!!) that's what happens when you ask oh to buy a paddling pool he comes back with a 10ft pool!!!! Madness I don't know where he's going to put it!!! Talking of which I have no idea where the helleniums are going!!!!

Chicky it is fab... The best sale for plants is the Chelsea sell off but get there early... Even today we were there at 9.15 even though it didn't open till 9.30. We got a lot of goodies like wolf tools and a trug and seed box so really didn't spend much for what we got. I'm sat looking at my lit lanterns in a rocking chair right now watching the bats swoop and circle. Oh won't come out as he says the mossies will get him. Talking of which lo got a bite on her bum tonight!!! Bless I have marked many of her firsts but not her first mossie bite!!!

Be careful not to stand on it as well a tiny sliver can transfer it.... Contact your local council and ask for advice.. On a positive note apparently the stems which are edible taste like rhubarb!!!
