thanks kef this just pinged up on my email so I thought I would add a bit lol..... My chilli growing has gone manic this year with the inclusion of hydroponics and grow lights... Did you know the average t5 kitchen light can assist in your growing... My chilli collection has also exploded and now includes rare wild varieties like Galapoganese which is a furry beauty and even the leaves smell..I am also growing a not yet released to the general public seed for a potential record breaking hot chilli... This is its 2nd year being grown and I am honoured to be trusted by its developer to grow it.. I would post my grow list but I fear I would have to admit to my obsession.... Would love to hear what you are all growing .......

Morning all..... I'm away on a much needed holiday!! My garden has been trashed we got rats under the chicken coup and had to dig it up to treat it ( which was slow and resulted in me obtaining an air rifle and taking matters into my own hands!!) so we will need to redo all of the lawn when the weather improves.... When I left my chilli lab was thriving it's all gone very mad growing hydroponically and under lights etc .... Who knew a t5 kitchen light could produce the results it has. I am just venturing I to wild untainted chillis and a friend in Sweden who is the leading authority is sending me more seeds!!! I have also just obtained a new chilli seed not yet available in the world let alone the UK as it still isn't stable!!! Hark at me rubbing shoulders with developers of new strains!!!!
Looks like my monarda died this year sadly but then a lot of the plants in the borders seem to have suffered the mild winter!!! But on the other side the agapanthus bed seems to be doing ok! I have been letting the chickens out this!! It was with much excitement that the day before we came away I planted out 18 of the hellebore seeds that I grew 2 years ago.they are crossed as well ... I'm hoping for flowers next year!!!!
And with a sad heart I had to have the cat put down on Friday. He had cancer which had got too bad. He stopped eating on Thursday so I felt it was time. ABE had been with me 18 years ( longer than mr d!) but as his pain left him I reassured him he was and always be loved ..... RIP abe..... When we get back in March it will be time to get the polytunnel up..... If I could I would post pics to bore you all......

Stay warm peeps xx

It's my birthday

I have lost my ability to post icons, pics etc which is probably a good thing as I have just built the polytunnel frame and would vote you all with pics of emerging rare chillis!!!!! My seedlings up so far ( yes in my amazing aero pot) are black nagas, a wild galapagonese, rocoto p360, fish ( amazing leaf variegation) and space chilli!!!!! Lol these are seeds the Chinese took I to space and have been mutated by space radiation sooooo excited lmao......
