Kef no I didn't put any ericaceous compost down just planted straight in an they are thriving in fact I would say that already ( in 1.5 months) grown about 2 inches! I think our soil is a bit acidic anyhow it's bagshot sand apparently and rhododendrons love it so!!!!! Orchid I love the green house wish I could have room but our garden is officially full now!!!! What with climbing structures, she's, swing and garden room!!!

Many chillies overwinter well but beware of white fly it seems to love chillies in the winter!!!

Unless you are looking to overwinter I would suggest just letting them do their own thing. If you are keeping them on the window ledge then nipping out had its benefits of keeping them compact and bushy.....

 The bluebells have gone crrraaaaaazzzzzzy this year.

the purpose of these pics is a HUGE thank you to all on this forum. My garden is the best it's ever been. New plants introduced and it's thriving and all because of the advice and ideas on this forum. Thank you all

Evening all.... Re my clocks going forward post earlier it will be later .... 6am is 7am when the clocks go back we loose an hour ( ppphhheeewwww I'm not mad)

Andy lemon is a fab one but I'm not familiar with the other one. Lemon can be quite a big plant to pot up big

Edd that's wine he was given for xmas!!! Orchid was it the south devon chillie farm? I go there every year normally and if not I always see them at chillie fiesta at west dean along with Michael ( who had his own company now and supplies high fern w) it was someone at south devon who told me about square pots!!!!
