You Know You Enjoy Your Garden When...

Posted: 09/01/2014 at 22:48

I love my 'me' time in the garden, wether its just pottering about, cutting the lawn, weeding, trimming shrubs, planting up pots/hanging baskets or planting up new beds. Then relaxing with a good book and cup of tea.

I love having friends or family over for a bbq or just drinks in the afternoon/evening if we are lucky like last summer.

But just like Mark and blairs I really like a quiet me time in the garden. Roll on spring and summer

I quite fancy a small rock garden like the one on the garden prog, the other night. Also fancy a water feature of some sort.

Climber rose advice wanted

Posted: 09/01/2014 at 20:19

I have the climber rose compassion,  had it for about 10yrs now. Its a lovely rose and good repeat blooms, nice length stems to cut and bring indoors.  I usually plant my roses in March/April time, but buy  them pot grown.

Lovely sunny crisp day, went for a nice walk along the edge of the woods. Bit breezy but not too cold. Fresh air did me the world of good, headache gone and feel so much better.

Glad Spikes ok. Sorry to hear about your friend Verdun, hope all goes well for her.

Hope  everybody is having a good day BFN
