plant ideas for this old pot

Did think of that OL, but wondered if it would be too big

Quite fancy something trailing over the side of the pot somewhere.

Hi John, it does have a hole drilled in it, which is a shame as I would have liked it to be a water feature. But its far too big too be a hanging tub, as its 26ins accross and quite deep.

Allium did think of an alpine garden, but do have one already and because of the size of the pot, I'd need loads. Many thanks.

Have started a thread for ideas.

Hi OL. hope you had a good day yesterday.

Punkdoc hope you had a lovely holiday, any pics?

Have a good day MrsG.

Found this pot nearly buried in my sisters garden. And now its mine! Its brass and 26ins accross.

Could you please give me some ideas for plants. I'd quite like something taller at the back.

I can't make it into a water feature as its had a hole drilled into the bottom..

Many thanks.

Have a spare shady spot for it. Will keep it in the pot a little while longer, then plant it out.

Thank you nut for your help and advice

Thank you OL and MrsG. Its quite big so needs quite a bit to fill. Any ideas. Theres a hole already drilled in it, so can't be a water feature. Rather like the idea of a slightly taller plant at the back but no idea what.
