| About me: | I have always loved gardening but not had time with work and family. Now that I am retired I have spent more time in the garden and have dug a border around a fairly large lawn and planted it up with New Zealand Flax and conifers which provide year round colour. I have then added more plants such as rock rose and christmas roses for seasonal colour. I already had purple flag irises and have transplanted these throughout the garden for spring time colour. At the moment I am hoeing the weeds up as they are growing rapidly after the rain. Last autumn I took lots of cuttings from various plants and am really pleased to see how many have caught and are now ready to be planted out in the garden. |
