A Senior Moment.

Hi, I find that I have to remove the keys from my car ignition to remove shopping etc as my car locks itself, even if the keys are in the ignition. Even when putting fuel in as well... my point is that many clothes do not have pockets which makes keeping keys safe and accessible difficult when you have your hands full... any suggestions? I am always loosing my pruners in the garden too I dont know where they go as I have had to replace so many and never found the ones I lost.. does anyone know where they could have gone??

Hi everyone, it seems many of our lawns have loads of moss after last years wet autumn/winter. I too applied 4-1 last March and now have bare patches on the lawn. Is it possible to fill these bare patches with grass seed now and, if so, how does one go about it. any suggestions/help gratefully appreciated. ta x

Talkback: How to force rhubarb

Posted: 09/08/2013 at 08:37
Hi
I planted a whole packet of rhubarb seeds in different places in the garden. The only success is 3 that have grown in a l ltr pot. They have produced stems and leaves over the summer. Can you please advise whether to plant in the open garden or keep in pots. Many thanks

Hi everyone, I have a houseplant but I do not know its name. I am enclosing a picture so that you can see it has produced lovely flowers but they are different colours. Has anyone any information on this plant please and is it normal to have different coloured flowers on one plant. Many thanks.

Ivy, creeps everywhere and is impossible to get rid. Brambles, worse than Ivy if that's possible.

Today I feel so happy....

I just love it when the seeds I planted germinate and grow on to become what they are meant to be.. lovely. Also, seeing runner beans find their way so gracefully up the canes, so clever. Nature is wonderful.

Quakeing Grass (not sure of the spelling) - I thought it would be nice to have this pretty grass with its large shaking seedheads in my garden... worse thing ever. It spreads all over the place and when you think you have got rid of it all then again next year it shows up. It even grows through concrete. Horrible.

Is my bay tree dead?

Sorry to hear this mrsprit, I grow these from cuttings and they grow like weeds for me. I have chopped suckers away from the base of loads and they still throw up more. If yours is ready for the chop them perhaps that might be the answer, if the tights plan fail then saw it off very low down but leave the stump and the roots, it may throw up some suckers in the future and you could grow those on. Good luck with it anyway.
