After following Toby Buckland's highly helpful 'How to put up plant support wires' video, I have just put up some wires in the garden. They are pretty much horizontal and it shows how skew-wiff the fence is!

Mine are in reasonable shade for most of the afternoon but do get morning sun and they just go mad!

Depends how big you want them to be, if I don't brutalise ours back to the first set of buds then they would run riot. As it is, even with that amount of a prune, they grow to five feet tall. You can also remove the woodiest stems right now too.

Two cotoneasters to train up the fence behind my new raised veg beds just to cover the fence, a lavender as the contoneasters were on a buy two and get something free. I am removing a mophead hydrangea and replacing it with a sarcococca confusa as I am pig sick of seeing just sticks outside the back door for several months of the year!

Oh and for indoors, a kalanchoe.

The rest of mine was on hardy plants that will stay in their pots for a bit longer though the ground down here isn't that bad. They were outside at the GC so they will be fine on the patio!
