Good evening all. Just finished work and having my tea. This week I am living a parallel life to others. Still thinking of you all. Be back to normal at weekend. I see my coleus seeds have popped up - hooray. Need to get some tomato seeds sorted soon. All seems a long way off in this weather brrr.

Very bright here too. Don't think there will be much of a thaw. Is -2. Garden still covered in inches of snow. Hope it warms up soon so everything can catch up.

Hi all. Lizzie - horses not my own. Looking after them for someone who has gone to a wedding. Used to work with race horses in my younger days.
Sat down at last. Roast chick turned out well in new cooker. Suppose real test will be a cake? Not had time today. Very cold here. Melted snow from earlier is now glistening with the frost. All my flowers hiding under a thick layer of snow. Hope they are ok

Evening all. Back from shopping, doing horses and everything else. Was very very cold doing these horses. On top of a very big hill. Wind so cold it nearly cut you in half!!
Warming up now. Glass of wine earned I think.
I know what it like to have no electric. That is why I got my log burner. Unfortunately its out of action at the moment. Must sort when I have a minute. Needs new rope seal.

Afternoon all. Been out in cold to take son to work. Had bacon and tom sandwich. Just having a sit down before rushing off again. Got to go buy shoes and trousers for new job tomorrow. Do some food shopping as the hours I am working this week are 4pm to 2am. So pretty unsocial!
Then got to go look after horses. Cook dinner. Make sure clothes are ready for week. See you all back here later
