Yes, I like anything a bit different  and since it has berries now I might have a go with those - once they've aged a bit...

Yes Fairygirl, the Fatsia took off pretty much straightaway. It's still outside in its pot and the main one is in the garden now.

Hello kirkigirl, I have a Fatsia that had a small side shoot growing near the main plant - I pulled it off and potted that up and it's in its own pot now. Never tried the berries though..

Book Lovers and Library Users

I have always used a library, wherever we have lived, so has the OH - would be happy to pay a subscription as we use it so much so would certainly get our moneys worth. Our nearest library is only a few minutes away by bus or car but there is a small charge in the library car park.

I am over sixty..

Yes, Joe _the_Gardener  I agree but they can't stand anything out of the ordinary on their property so I guessed its fate. It takes all sorts......

Philippa I asked him to let me know if he finds anymore..... I can sleep tonight now.

Panic over.... I did rescue it and it is now in my garden, he was quite bemused by it all, the neighbour not the caterpillar, his wife had just emptied potato peelings on it but they both said it's still crawling around!

Apparently they love fuschias  and my neighbour has loads of them in hanging baskets, yes philippa smith2 I think it probably did.

At least one of them has a chance now.
