They are sadly characters of the past Hosta, as well as characters of comedy and amusement, and as far as I know TFL was with older ladies too. I'm condoning people being overweight, I am however condoning television producers that seem to only excuse a female presenter carrying extra tub once she hits a certain age. It's a shame because I'm sure there are many, many talented female presenters out there who don't get considered simply because they aren't slim or pretty enough... which is sad! And simply doesn't apply for men in television! Anyway, I think this is the wrong forum to air my feminist grievances

Nikki is on it for people like me who don't understand the majority of Chelsea, but who are enthusiastic, but niave. I for one am I glad there's a 'normal' person on it. As for people commenting on her attractiveness, does it really matter? The notion presenters need to be attractive to matter is frankly irritating at the very least. Especially when it comes to women. As soon as a young woman as fat and old as Tom Kerridge is on primetime telly, I'll always have a bee in my bonnet about it.

Went to my local garden centre as a pick me up and found some beautiful black velvet petunias, I picked them up because they reminded me of my black cat's silky ears!

Now I've brought them home to my very bright, pastel potted, mainly pink and yellow garden I don't really know how or where I'm going to put them! Not that I really mind, they are truly stunning!

Are there any other lovely black and dark petal plants? It must be the inner goth in me crying out!

I'm more than happy to be patient in regards to flowering! Thanks for the advice everyone.

Any experience with Wysteria cuttings

Has anyone grown Wysteria from cuttings? There's conflicting advice online, and I've never taken a cutting of anything before!

I saw a Wysteria plant at Homebase, but it was £30! I'd much rather give it a go myself!

Thanks

Lovely photos guys

There's a lot of cats at our allotment which is nice, though I think we are in the minority when it comes to that opinion!

Ants

We are inundated with them too, and I'm quite allergic to their bites, come up in hives that itch for days, and then they swell underneath... sigh. I've had to ignore the garden for a few days it's so bad. I'm off into town today and hopefully will find some of those bait boxes. I don't much like the idea of killing them though...
