Same here, donutsmrs, and we put out the bunches of cats hair (the fluffy undercoat stuff) that we get after brushing the cat (saves having hair on everything).
Ooh, my OH would give his eye teeth for an old-fashioned ironmonger, they usually have some great things that newfangled DIY stores don't.
For me, Spring doesn't really start until the wild garlic
Dove, I didn't mean you personally! What a nutcase, can't believe there is no way to get rid of him. Although I must admit it's amusing to read some of the very pointed replies. Just a pity they seem to roll off him like water off a ducks back!
It looks like you've really started him off, he's posted 3 more useless threads!
Thanks Verdun, I've found it at last. Can buy it here, but delivery not until October! Ah well, patience is a virtue, possess it if you can !
Lovely Bev, what great colour mixes. Can't wait to get mine going again, but we had -6°C this morning and they're talking about snow again next week, so will just have to be patient.
Verdun, I just did, but just got a lot of ladies called Elke?
Every time I read these comments I can't stop myself from Googeling the various plants you all suggest and it nearly drives me nuts to see all the lovely varieties. I can feel myself twitching to go out and buy the lot! I've just discovered the following website: http://www.geraniumsuk.com/hardy-geraniums/hardy-collections. I'm going to trawl the local nurseries asap to see if I can find some of these, such a shame they don't deliver outside the UK.
