MOB rants

Actually, now that you mention it Bev, I don't! I do try to "untick" the box most of the time because otherwise I get dozens of emails that I have to delete, but sometimes I forget, so no, haven't received any lately. I find it easier to just go down the list of subjects and with newer ones read all the comments, with older ones such as MOB rants etc. I open in a new tab and open "view latest post".

Might be an idea to report the problem to the Moderator:

wildlife pond, with a cat...

Why not? The cat might catch the odd critter, but I'm sure there'll be plenty left. Don't know about foxes, but I thought they ate mice and such like.

Scroll down to the bottom of the "page" and you will see a box to tick saying "Email me when a response is made".

Sorry you feel so frustrated, MMP, but I can't help wondering if the fuel for your crosscountry excursions in the Landrover doesn't cost you a bomb. We used to have a '75 Series II Carawagon and it guzzled, but in those days fuel was cheap.

Shopping this afternoon for me, spent a bomb on plants for hanging baskets again, I hope that will be the last lot for now, otherwise OH will kill me! Sky is still grey and foggy, apparently will stay for the rest of the week, p***s me off!

Hi, I think it shouldn't be any problem to plant them out now, if the weather man says there will be a hard frost, cover them with some fleece or newspaper over night. Brassicas are pretty tough.

If I were you I would take the rubbish compost back to where I bought it and complain. Perhaps they will replace it with something decent!

Apparently not everyone considers it a weed, I have it in my garden and it doesn't spread very much.

What's the weather like in your area?

Do you really want to know?! One word: lousy!
