Rhododendron

Posted: 05/08/2016 at 17:13

see attached photograph of my 7 month old rhododendron in a pot, with red spots which appeared on 8 of its leaves two weeks ago.  I am frightened it might be "phytothera" - I have removed the leaves & destroyed them.  All this happened two weeks ago.   I dont want to lose this otherwise healthy plant, it gave us a wonderful floral display for a month, Is budding up well for next season, & looks otherwise very healthy, lovely dark green leaves.

i need advice please on what I can do to save it ?  I am watching it carefully.  Can anyone help ?

thankyou. 😢 Tads

oh, it's the "hanging"  coral-pink flowers, drooping down,  I am looking for.  Are they just called "begonias " then ?

Rose identification

This most glorious rose bush, I inherited, so I don't know its name?  Can someone kindly identify it for me?  Is it a hybrid?  Is it a tea rose?.  I think its an "old rose" - the bush was planted more than 12 years ago - and a prolific flowerer with a strong & delightful perfume; its a joy, & I can't resist picking a couple of blooms because they introduce a wonderful perfume throughout a room.

"Thankyou "

Oh ok, thanks for this info.   It's in a separate bed away from the rest of the garden, so I won't propagate it, obviously.  hv never known its name, so thanks for this
