hi chris glad the lawn is showing improvement ours is looking better after cutting weekly  will start to mow twice weekly when and if we get any good wheather wich at the moment looks like thats not going to happen where have the summers gone !

im glad our haing the results you were hoping for mark on the golf on tv and tennis they are always mowing daily  think ill try the 48 hour mow but at presnt with all this wet ill leave it mowing wet grass is not the thing

we had a lawn laid last year we were qoted for removal of old lawn rotavate soil then flatten then lay new lawn turfed i went to shop came back to find he was rotavating the old lawn into the ground i pulled him up on this and he said oh its ok dont worry well lawn laid minimal instructions on watering etc  thinly grew yellow patches i got him back he dug turf up this time laid another turfed lawn same happened i told him that was not on and i wanted a refund  at first he declined then i mentioned trading standards we got the refund we persevered and the lawn is looking much better  dove has given you the best advice there you can garden for years and still be a novice you learn somat new every day

you could buy a shed then build a green house on the door end of it so that you go through the door of the greenhouse  then into the shed  makes the shed bit that more safe i have built a garden room the same way when i have time i will post pics
