The long game

Hi SFord,

I am off to Heligan on Friday so I should get a good indication on how well plants grow as it's only 3.5 miles up the road so the climate shouldn't be that different.

Fantastic day out today to Bodmin and Wenford steam railway. As Dad turned 50 in April I had a chat with the station manager and managed to get Dad on the footplate for a trip.

I recommend this. Don't be alarmed if your lawn turns black, this happened to me, it all depends on how much clover and other weeds are in your garden. Once applied wait for about 6 weeks to really see if it has worked.

I applied about 3 weeks ago and it is still killing the weeds.

I have been a bit absent from my garden, mainly because of the weather but also my mum and dad are down from southampton so i'm out with them.

Pam: I have no idea regarding the conception of the locals, I'm from Southampton originally moved to Cornwall 5 years ago and never looked back. I go back from time to time to see family and friends but i will never move back.

We had a cat called George who passed away a couple of months ago and we have a pony called Tango but she lives on a livery yard up the road. I'm the same as Gary, love to feed the birds, we have a regular pheasant called Bob who turns up at 6am and 5pm, he's almost eating out of my hand
