Hi everyone. Never posted on this thread before but really enjoy reading it.

I'm off work at the moment and this forum has really helped me feel brighter

I have only planted sweet peas so far. Will do others in the next couple of weeks.

Where is everybody from...

I live in Newhaven- between Brighton and Eastbourne on the sunny south coast.

My 'garden' is 7m by 4.6m and fully paved. I grow everything in containers.

I do have a border 33cm by 285cm in front of the house. It is only 180cm from my front window to the pavement. So to make up for lack of space I have pots of flowers, troughs on side walls and along path and hanging baskets to get as many flowers in as possible.

Gardengirl your plants arrived this morning and Joyce the seeds also arrived. Thank you both.

Best and worst

The one benefit of having a small paved garden- no mowing. It used to take me 2 hours to mow the lawn where I used to live.

What's the weather like in your area?

sunny on the south coast- what a difference from yesterday.Earlier there was a bright blue sky, now a few fluffy white clouds. Not been out so not sure about temperature

Trailing Begonia corms

Haha Mike.

I must admit I put slow release granuels mixed with water saving gell when I make them up then try to feed with liquid feed weekly. Last year was too wet to give the liquid feed, it would have run straight through with the rain.
