Here on the south coast it is a beautiful day. Wonderful blue sky so it is really time to get outside rather than be posting on here!!  Have a lovely day everyone

Ya, the email notifications still missing. They come and go. When they return after an absence I get the missing ones en masse including some weeks old.

Exactly the same for me

I don't know for sure but assume they must have been deliberately planted as there are three stretches along the road like this. However it was the same last year and I don't know if it has been redone this year. Thank you for the name.

I was driving along the A259 today between Newhaven and Peacehaven. I had to stop to take some pictures. I've wanted to every time I drive along since June. Many of the flowers which were looking good have finished but new ones have taken their place to keep it looking good. I am going to post a couple of pictures on here but would love it if you could go on to my Facebook page and go through the album giving the names of as many flowers as you can. For a start how many different wild flowers can you name in the following pic?

Having this at the edge of the road makes the drive so much more enjoyable

Sweet Pea Queries

Thank you David K so much. You have explained to me what I have done wrong with my sweet peas this year. They have a lot of mildew and I fear it is because I put them much too close together thinking that more plants would provide a better display. I planted them around a cane wigwam but only 3 or 4 cm apart. Next year I shall space them further apart sothereis better ventilation.

Hurrah! New Gardening Prog.

August in your garden...

I've never looked in this section before- what a treat! As everyone else says how lovely to be able to see other peoples gardens. I just wish there was a like button as on facebook- I like so many of the pics. I only have a paved back yard but fill it with as many pots as possible. This is also the first year I have tried growing anything from seed. I'll put some pics I've taken of my garden this year but afraid it isn't as wonderful as some on here
