Afternoon all. Having just come back on here I went to see my beautiful little granddaughter and was without internet .

In fact I feel like I've lost an arm as my phone has also been playing up and has now died. I'm really upset as I took some pics of the garden which I now fear I have lost.

I visited St Margarets nurseries in Titchfield yesterday with my Mum. They specialise in fuchsias and I got a lovely Golden Snowcap. The first time I've seen one and am really excited as my snowcap died (through drying out) this winter.

I also got a Heathfield for my daughter. She asked me to choose one which she can just plant and forget. I find it stunning and blooms throughout the summer.

Well I'm going back to my daughters to spend time with her and baby Poppy tomorrow so am not sure how much time I'll get to keep up on here.

Just heard the forecast that after heavy rain tonight then the weather should improve- that's nice but I've just been so impatient that I popped out to plant up 20 little viola Asda had. I'm now soaking but happy.

I bought some Sweet peas this morning. The ones I planted in the autumn were doing really well but then I let them dry out . The only thing that concerns me is that the pot they are in is really small so they haven't been able to grow nice long roots- still I'll give them a go.

Still not caught up on here but I suppose I can just take it from here.

Work is good thanks Chicky- in fact I was alowed a couple of days off to go and visit my daughter when she had her baby. My first granddaughter is called Poppy which I think is a fab name.

Morning all. Haven't been on here for months and months- spending too much time on school work.

I shall use this holiday trying to catch up a bit. The weather has decided that I won't be doing anything outdoors for now.

Evening all. I managed toget out for a short time- and made my neighbour feel even colder as I was just wearing a summer dress.

Also sowed my sweet peas. Am I right in thinking they don't need to be heated at all David?

The paradise later on- if I can manage to stay awake long enough.

Have a lovely evening everyone

Morning all.

I have been so busy this week I haven't even had enough energy when I'm finished to even read posts on here . I have only caught up from yesterday so sorry if I have missed anything important- if anyone posts anything important .

Archie sorry to hear of your loss. That is one of the sadder things as we age.

I fell asleep before GW on friday so put TV on this morning ready to watch it and have found a lovely prog with Alan T.

Yesterday was raining and horrid but I just wasted the day so now I have school work to do rather than be able to get out and enjoy the lovely sunny day we have here.

Stacey- big hugs for Tuesday.

Matty, hope you had a lovely evening yesterday.

I hope to meet Lizzie again later in the week.

Dove hope your pa is well for today and you have the good weather I have.

Have a wonderous day everyone

Remembrance Sunday

I remember years ago being afraid of how the children in school was act during the two minute silence on the eleventh. I used to teach in a somewhat rough school- No child ever was anything but respectful during the two minutes.

Well I didn't have internet last night so couldn't get on here. I came home really meaning to get straight on with my marking....decided to have a quick look on here.......more than 3 hours later I have just caught up.

So it is all your faults that I'm now having to start my marking

Have a great evening all
