Ahh ok thank you! The new growth looks lovely and green , so I just leave it and it should be fine?

I think I jinxed myself by saying that the honeysuckle I bought looked healthy because now it looks like this  Any suggestions on what to do/what the problem is?

I've seen some climbing honeysuckle in morissons and while it looks healthy enough i am wondering whether it would be ok to plant out now or whether its too cold? The plants look pretty young. I am in the north west if that makes a difference

Oooh thanks for that, looks perfect. I'll get some prices and see what's what, although the bench will have to be replaced unfortunately as it's rotten

Where to plant climber

I've recently moved in to a house and have a west facing (rather unsightly) wall that I'd like to cover with a climber (or two). As you can see from the photo it is surrounded by a path as I'd like to cover most of the wall I would imagine pots wouldn't be big enough to plant in. Would it be ok to lift a couple of the path stones and plant directly in to the ground? Any advice welcome! Please ignore the shabby old bench, it was there when we arrived and haven't got round to tipping it yet!
