thanks for all the replies folks! moving to a new house in about a month and a half, will have to see if work doesn't mind me nicking a little patch of them  I think they really make the grass more interesting, and they are so pretty too!

Daisy lawn in trend!

I can't see your pic i'm afraid Kittyrose, I do like the sound of this though - is it a lawn full of daisies basically? I do love when you see huge swathes of them in the park (those and dandelions too)

What are these little blue flowers?

Hi all, I have seen these little blue flowers growing amongst the grass where I work. Have been wondering for a while if anyone knows what they are? and if it would be possible for me to grow some! Thanks in advance!

My one (thats in a pot) has just started to produce buds - I planted it from seed last year so I'll be well chuffed if any bloom at all.

I need hugs too....

Its so painful - to go from 3 - 0 up .. I'm a lifelong Liverpool fan - but my OH's family are all either Man U supporters or Crystal Palace fans. Not looking forward to their next visit now...

HELP! Rapidly growing plant / weed ??

Can anyone tell me why the Japanese knot weed is so hated? may sound like a silly question... Is it just a thug that takes over space? does it never look good?

Continuing an Idea from another thread. What kinds of things can you put into a compost heap (besides old plant matter)? Veggie peels and old food? tea bags? hair? is it like, any organic matter? I've also heard you can put in stuff like paper and cardboard. Is there anything I should definately avoid trying to compost? ta!
