FG, the little cherubs wouldn't like the smell and I don't suppose the mothers would know what it was. Give it try.

Was going to ask why God, or whatever, didn't just make Eve, but I think I may know the answer.

FG, wish you'd stop using big words. Does it work on humans, do you know?

Made a decision not to go outside today as, supposedly, it's gong to be warmer and better tomorrow.  So have been a Stepford Wife. That will do for the next month or so, bathroom and kitchen excepted.

Wish I knew who invented housework.

I remember this topic being done on the Beeb forum, not on here.  I wasn't TT then. Actually, I think that's probably why I picked my daft name as I felt too normal.

Andy, I'm lucky if I can remember the 'common' name, let alone know what they are in Latin.

Thanks Verdun. Unusual.

Fidgetbones, are you a muscian by any chance?

How did you get into gardening?

What a change you've made and it looks really great.  Surprising what us 'little women' can accomplish isn't it.  I've shifted 19 bags of rubble from one piece of my garden this year, much to the amazement and amusement of my family. There's life in the old girl yet.

I think my brain stopped working! Don't know what came over me. Best not to change it because goodness knows what it could be next. DollyP perhaps

What made you pick yours Verdun?

Macavity, I was able to picture all of that. Lovely 'story'. Very satisfying isn't it.

Morning.  I saw the moon last night.  So bright you couldn't miss it.  Didn't realise until I put radio on that it was something special.  Not a particularly pleasant day and debating whether to treat grass or paint or do nothing.  Latter may win.

Daisy, burn it.  Neighbours will just have to grin and bear it.  It annoys me when people moan about bonfires and make you feel like a criminal. As long as you pick a suitable time, they're over and done with in a fairly short time.  I have to put up with BBQ's!

Verdun, as if I would tell you where to stick your plant.

Said earlier you learn something new every day.  Not that I ever would contemplate cleaning my windows with Jeyes Fluid, but now that Bob has told me what will happen, I certainly won't. See what I mean about funny people on here.  Hope Bob was being funny.

But Kef, if the forum had that facility, there would be no spontinaity and I wouldn't be sitting here chuckling away at your posts.  Good job I'm thick skinned.

Mmm.  Wonder what Kef is going to make of that.
