Morning all.  Bev, what's your excuse for being so early today. I'm off to spend the day with a lovely friend.  Such a shame that the weather is so poor, cold and wet, as I was looking forward to sitting in her pretty little garden, with all its fairies, toadstools and butterflies dotted about.  Never mind, I'm sure the weather won't stop the jaws wagging.

Pottie Pam. What have you been doing with yourself?  Was only thinking when I looked at the 'map' a couple of days back and your name popped up, as it always does that I haven't seen you around.  Hope all has been well.

Andy, you're like a whirlwind.  Do you ever just do nothing?

Shame my joke fell on deaf ears Verdun.  One of the characters always used to say everything twice.  No painting today.  I think more swearing goes on than singing, usually at the numorous dogs and the clucking chickens. My garden is no longer a peaceful haven.

Hope the weather improves for the wedding WW.  Should be able to count on good weather in June! I have just out my heating on.

Have a good day all.

PS Hi Chicky and FG.  You weren't here when I started my post.

Thanks WW. Vaguely remember someone asking about it at sometime and thought it was suggested it was a weed.  Just my luck.  Why do weeds always spring up but never pretty plants. Had one bit last weekend, now have 4.  Sunday, it will cease to be.

You certainly took some lovely photos Gardengirl.  Wish my rockery looked like that.  More effort needed.

Gardengirl asking about the plant reminds me.  I have lots of little, weeds I think, popping up which look like carrot tops.  Can anyone help?

I can't say I like tattoos but if that's what young people want to do, then so be it.  I don't take any notice any more because I know they are still the same pleasant people, just got a marble loose. There's a lot of money to be made in the tatoo business because it's so popular and doesn't seem to be on the decrease.

I was 21 before I had my ears pierced, daughter 13 and granddaughter has been told she can't have hers done until she's at senior school, much to her disgust, being as all her school friends have had them done for years.

My daugher, but an hour out the garden calmed me down and now I think - sod her. Sounds unkind, but it's how I feel at the moment.

Glad I'm not the only one who rarely uses their mobile Kef.  I've a PAYG and I spent £10 over 2 months.  Only talk on it if one of my lot calls me.  Can't take pics either. Suits me.

At least my paddy got things done. Calmed me down too.

Loved all the gardens WW, if you can call them gardens!  Must take up an awful lot of everyone's time. I wouldn't be able to cope.

I've never grown up Gilly. Well, perhaps I'm not quite so daft as when I was young.

Evening Gardengirl.  Thought I would post so you won't be lonely.

I didn't get too much painting done today as I had to keep kneeling and in the end my legs started protesting.  Happy with what I did though.  Came in for a rest and thought I would leave the rest of the plants which need to go in wall 'urns' until Sunday. That was until something happened which made me lose my temper, (not often that happens), and I have now have 3 urns planted up.

BL, it sounds like you will be going home for a rest! You've certainly packed a lot in on your holiday and hasn't the weather been good.

I wish I had a chef, or a lackey at least. Oprah Winfrey has one but then she's loaded.

Thought I was going to be 2nd but beaten into 4th.

Good job you can't see my son and SIL, Pentillie and Frank.  Both covered in tatoos and son has a huge hole in his earlobe with some sort of fixture in it. Can hold a cigarette.  I am constantly telling them they will regret it when they reach old age, but they don't listen.  However, all I will say is never judge a book by it's cover.

They are of a different era.
