MOB rants

I'll go along with that Kef, but they are few and far between. My late MIL walked around with a shower cap on, bless her. She did get stroppy when we tried to suggest what she should wear and there were times that she didn't look too good. Very sad.

No Frank, it's not just you.  There's a place for everything and what you describe is not for venturing out in! Only recently, I commented to someone that I wondered whether some people actually looked in the mirror before they ventured out, women included.  I hate this attitude 'I'm only popping to the shops', etc, etc. Where is their sense of pride?  Perhaps we are old fashioned.  Well, so be it.  I like to look my best even when shopping. Do garden in night attire though.

Morning all. I said Morning Verdun.

Was early to bed last night and had a really good night. Still a bit of pain, but at least I know it's nothing serious.

You really are a bunch of jokers, said in the nicest possible way, as Kenny E would say.  You make me laugh.

Spouse is like 'courting'.  In my day, people would be courting and in my Mum's day, walking out.

Going to try and get my plants in but think the ground is rock hard as no rain here,  Some are for my wall pots, so that will be OK. Going to try and do a bit more wall painting.  Have try and roller now.  Thanks for the tip FG.

Have a good day everyone.  Glad you're all here.

Bev, Big Brother. Never. What do you think of Rylan's teeth?  Think he must have done a swap with Shergar.

I think Kef spent too much time in the sun today.

Morrisons run a 'Lets Grow' scheme for schools.  Google their website and you should find all the details.

Good Evening FORKERS

Evening.  Had a pleasant day today. Nothing strenuous.  Got my bits and bobs from B&Q and a few little plants. Some looked so sorry for themselves, all for the sake of a bit of water.  Been very humid and, blow me down, the sun's just come out.

Hope the forecast about the rain is wrong as I need to treat my grass, or should I say weeds.

No Gilly, not getting anything.  Is it something to do with your browser?  I know nothing about all that but I've heard the techi posters mention it.

I can't even walk in shingle these days.  My poor old legs just give up the ghost. At least you enjoyed yourself Dove.

No 'onesie' FG. I'd really look stupid in one of them. Just the usual kaftan so I suppose it doesn't look quite so bad as a dressing gown.

Best not to get too het up about the spammers.  It was so quickly and well dealt with the other morning, I only knew about it when Lazy Gardener made their input.  It only affects those who get up at the crack of dawn, so Bev and I are OK.

The daftest thing you've done in your garden

No, Mozza, I didn't mean to imply the cat had been buried alive. Just thinking how respectful my daughter was with her two dogs. They were family. People are weird at times aren't they.
