Good Evening FORKERS

Evening. Think I must be sickening for something as I've taken all the net curtains down and 3 lots are washed, ironed and back up.  Have curtains as I live on a busy road and don't like people peering in.  I know they do it as I always do the same! Feeling very tired now.  Will do the others tomorrow.

Didn't the childrens' holiday go quickly Bev.  Where did that 6 weeks go to?  At least those families holidaying in the UK had some decent weather this year.  My granddaughter is starting her final year at primary school, which is rather sad.

My new granddaughter is so advanced. She sent me an e-mail this morning telling me how comfey she found her crib.  Was sent at 3.55. Oh, the joys of a new baby.

Must just respond to you Catbee.  The neighbours I complained to have lived there for 27 years.  We were friendly, I have watched their girls grow from babies to teenagers, was even invited to wife's 50th birthday party.  However, following my most polite letter which started with me apologising for having to broach the dog issue, I encountered absolute hostility!  Had to tell neighbour, after he had nigh on knocked the door down, to change the look on his face and to tone his voice down. Totally lost control. He's a teacher too!! I have lost all respect for them but will not ignore them or let them ignore me - just out of spite!!

So, in your circumstances, I truly think you took the right course of action.

Break, I wouldn't have cared if, after greeting her, she had blanked me. I know from what you have written that you were living under the same cloud as I was and also know what it's like for that to be lifted.  Just wish I had done it sooner.

GF, did toy with the idea of getting one of those contraptions but went for the jugular instead.  The owers had to be brought to account for their irresponsible behaviour. I found the statement by them, that the person who had charge of him for the fortnight whilst they were away hadn't found he barked unnecessarily, to be a bit of a fib, as I believe this person was the one that actually cured him of it.  Just showed it can be done. When he starts now, I hear someone clap and he stops.

Exactly Break!  I would hear the dog start and my heart would sink and eventually, I would come in from the garden or have to close doors and windows. You have to do something positive for your own sanity and peace of mind, regardless if you upset anyone. I met my neighbour for the first time on Friday and we were polite to each other, albeit a bit strained.  I can live with that.

Morning.  Must have been half asleep as I posted on wrong thread.  Never mind. Retrieved it for what it's worth.

Must do things today. Washing, bin filling and get to Post Office. I find it so annoying that instead of walking up the road I now have to hop, well get, on a bus to the nearest one.  Did us OAP's no favours when they were all closed down!! Good job I have my Freedom Pass. Will you get one Dove?  Of course, if the government get their way, they will take it away and give the money to ............who knows.

Think I should be on MOB thread.  Bit early for me and I'm always a bit grouchy in the morning at the best of times.

Have a good day one and all.

Problem with editing posts

Morning everyone.  Me too!! First time was confused as to whether my edited version had re-posted but now know it does.  There are so many glitches on here and have been for an absolute age now.  I have contacted Daniel at least 3 times and was promised these would be addressed in order of importance but that was months ago.  Know others have also pm'd so not the only 'moaner'.

Love your pics Bev. Looks beautiful. Have to hang on to that for when it's cold and wet!

So glad that there are other Xfactor fans. Have been quite impressed with some of the singers so far.

The only bit of gardening I did today was to fill next door's bin up in readiness for tomorrow.  Still got loads to go.

Apart from that I went to see my new granddaughter, had a cuddle and smacked her for crying - got to start as you mean to go on - as if. Came home and did a bit of online retail therapy. That's 4 new outfits she's got. Can't have her wearing hand-me-downs.  No second-hand Rose for me.

Going to be hot tomorrow. Aren't I lucky.

You can tell who the wise ones are when you look at Blackest's GW map.  We are all crammed down the bottom.  Was going to say down South but Verdun says I live in the North. Funny lot those Cornish.
