Morning. Just done the watering I should have done last night.  Forgot how early it gets dark these days. Quite nippy out there at present but supposedly in for a good day and hotting up tomorrow.

Got a horrible repair job I have been asked to do by DIL on her son's black school coat.  I can't work miracles!!  Will have a go but won't hold my breath. Hate working on black material.

Sunday is day of rest FG. Put your feet up and eat cake.

Phew, thought I was going nuts.  Perhaps I am, as Lucky 3 has been posting for some time.  Not sure why Lucky 2 pops up when you click on Lucky 3, but if you click on avatar all L3's posts are there.

Where's Blackest when you need him.

Lucky, may I suggest you pm Daniel Haynes and ask for his help.

You'll be an OAP soon Dove, draining the NHS service and getting all those wonderful perks. You know we live too long now. I think what the government have in mind is moving the goal posts so far that folk will work themselves to death so will never get to draw a pension.

Forgot to water.

Twinkle toes is home and tucked up in her little swinging crib. Bless. Probably have to wander that way tomorrow, just to say hello.

Seems like Groundhog Day again.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! My little Twinkle Toes won't be wearing them. Got one sweet little outfit but problem is sales and change of seasons.  Wish I still had a sewing machine. Could then run her up a few co-ordinates.  Thought that some of the material and the workmanship left much to be desired.

Will have to get out and water too Dove.  Been baking hot again today and temperature supposed to be rising again tomorrow.  I am not complaining.  Said I wouldn't so will keep my promise.

Back to my book. Will try not to doze off this time.

Diddy, if you do nothing for fear of reprissal, then you are going to live with what you have for however long you or the neighbour stay there.  I can't tell you how much I wish I had dealt with my problem sooner.  Yes, the owner was very unpleasant and it unnerved me but at least I did it.  If it was still going on, I would have no qualms in taking the complaint further, regardless of the consequences. We are all entitled to live in peace and quiet, with the normal neighbourly noise and should not have that destroyed by one person's unreasonable behaviour.

Several neighbours moaned to me about the doggie problem, but no-one would do anything.  Bet they're now glad I did!! Apathetic lot.

Morning all.  Been up ages but busy spreading the news and then lost one really long e-mail which I had to redo.

Hi Steebe. Welcome to the madhouse.

Was wondering where you were Andy. Sorry to hear your treatment knocked you for six.  Do hope you're feeling OK now.

I'm off for a bit of retail therapy.  Eva has told me what she likes so will see what I can do.  So glad she didn't ask for some Dr Martens.

Lovely day here.  Sorry FG.  You will have to move.

Good to see you Woody. Please present a absent note in the future so we don't worry about you.

MrsG, it wasn't Dove that wrote the post. It was like you had hiccups.

Pentillie, I'm really sorry to hear about your daughter. Can't imagine what you are going through.

Just been to see the baby.  Very sweet and was as quiet as a mouse. Lots of photos taken.  Her two brothers were there and, I have to say, were besotted with her. That will probably wane when she starts waking them up in the middle of the night.  All's good.As I don't drink MrsG, you can have my celebratory glass.  Cheers

And last but not least, welcome Jeanie.

Thanks all. This is going to be the best one yet as I have made it plain that my looking after, babysitting days are gone!  Been doing it for 18 years, so time to retire. I will just coo and cuddle and make sure she's the best dressed baby ever!  Going to see her at 7.  Have some pics and she's really chubby.  Lovely.

Have a lovely time with your family BL, especially that little granddaughter.  The first thing I bought my now 11 year old granddaughter was a pair of fairy wings.  Still has them on her wall.  Now wears Dr Martens. I blame the mother (my daughter).
