companion planting could help,plant onions and garlic in between the rows or hyssop etc,stops the carrot fly from sniffing them out

aldi seeds are ok,but i get most of mine from ebay sellers and have had no problems with quality or quantity,look for the ones with good feedback i use four sellers,premier seeds direct is the one i use most.

its as break23 says the cloves push themselves out of the ground you just have to push them back in until they get a good hold.

hi,i breed worms for fishing as well as for composting,usually the worms come out of the compost if it gets to hot,try turning it with a fork every four weeks or so to allow it to cool a little,the name is brandling but if very red they are most likely dont put fruit skins like orange peel in it or it will alter the ph and kill them,hope that helps,tom.

unless you feed the local birdlife get a plastic decoy owl and put it where it can be seen from everywhere in your garden,keeps cats rats and mice away too.
