for the moles if you buy a musical card from the card shop and take the little music maker off it and put down the hole in a small plastic bag (to stop damp) the noise drives the moles away.tried and tested and it works.

the main problem with chickweed is that when you pull it out another one will grow in it's place,this is because the seed can lay dormant for 90 years or so and when a plant is removed a new plant will grow to fill the gap.that's why it looks as though it keeps coming back.

as some of the others have said it's best to make liquid fertiliser from the leaves try not to put the leaves directly into the soil as they tend to regrow from every axle on the leaf.i use it all the time and water it down to 1 in 16,half a pint of liquid to 7 1/2 pints of water.

skin so soft in the blue bottle from avon works wonders,i do a lot of fishing and other outdoor stuff and never get bothered.and if run out of it i get some american military insect repellent off ebay which is great.
