Thanks for that, Daintiness.  I think I just needed a bit of reassurance!

worm leachate

I have read on some websites that the liquid produced from my wormery, called leachate, could be harmful rather then beneficial to my garden plants.  I know it has to be diluted with water (10:1), but I'm still a bit nervous about using it.  Has anyone used it on their plants?

Hi, Can someone give me some advice, please?  I sent off for Charlotte potatoes and a grow bag, but have only just got them out of the box.  They've already started sprouting, and are also very wrinkled and soft.

Is it worth trying to grow them, or will it be a waste of compost?

Thanks!

If you want to see how bee-friendly your garden is, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, bumblebeeconservation.org, has got a 'bee kind' tool on their site which gives your flowers a score.  It's also got lots of interesting info.
