yes l find l am always gardening in my slippers ,not so much in the winter though .

thank you Bob the gardener for infomation about the bee ,l have since found out that it is a rare one as there was a item on the local news some days after spotting it ,and is extreamly rare .

That is the trouble with buying compost ,it is a bit of a lottery l find that one certain brand can be great really good quaility ,but when l bought a few more bags some months later same brand the quiality was'nt so good at all ,lwork at a garden centre and hear the same problem from customers thats why l say its a bit of a lottery a good batch or not .

l saw a black bee in my garden the other day on the rubeckia it was truly black never seen a black bee before anyone know the name of it ?

l so enjoyed reading about how you feel about your garden ,and l have to say l can relate to everything you say ,l to sit with a cuppa and talk to my pets ,and when friends ask to go shopping ,they know the answer the garden wins every time ,l have only a small garden but it is my favourite place that l like to be l have just picked some runner beans and sat with a cuppa and chopped ready for supper in the garden with my pets sleeping beside me in my world can't get better than that reguards .

so glad you have ladybirds as l have only seen three which is not good concidering l am organic and l have lots of black flys on my runner beans

Hi l joined today & would like to start by saying allthough the summer so far as been good l have only seen a few ladybirds has anyone got some only they are very few in my garden .
