Unfortunately too small a garden to stop dogs getting to that area. A pressure wsher would lift plants in the cracks of paving. I will maybe look into something organic. I looked at the jeyes fluid site it doesnt actually say but an interesting site, a tried and trusted product. Thanks everyone

Can anyone tell me will jeyes fluid kill plants? I want to scrub my slabbed patio area now and again, as we have dogs, but the problem is I have encouraged thymes and other plants to self seed around the area I wouldnt like to kill them off or can you suggest something else thanks

9c and lots of rain. Aw its so depressing we bought 2 garden chairs a month ago we havent used them yet one of them hasnt been taken out of the box!

Geoff decorating not finished ceilings next but I must say our sitting room is looking so fresh and no disasters yet.. I hope your not flooded down there I suppose thats the one plus of living at 1100ft. My lupins are flattened this morn with the rain but if thats all Ive to complain about Im lucky I say.

I suffer with the damn things I binned any compost in pots. I have found out they dont like ground coffee so I sprinkled some among my potatoes which they love which made me think of a decoy. I just couldnt get lettuce to grow so i cut up a potato, got bamboo skewers from the cookery isle in my supermarket, I pierced the potato with the skewer and slightly buried it, using the skewer I knew exactly where I had sunk the potato. I replace potato chunk when I remember. Well anyway it worked I now can grow my lettuce. If you find anything that gets rid of them let me know. They dont like sugar or boiling water either. I was planning making them a strong sweet cup of coffee.

A friend of mine does an instant herb garden buying them all from the supermarket and why not I got two for a £1 the other day for a recipe I was doing. I used the coriander and have planted it I reckon it will come again and if not thats ok
