Well i have a shed fridge and lots of patience, my mum did say to me just to leave them and check them every month or so. Thanks for that KateDo you know i love this site this is my kind of facebook, no idle gossiping just plant talk

My pond so far

i left a pond behind in my last garden it broke my heart i loved the whole idea of giving wildlife a home and bog plants i could watch the pond for hours. I so so miss it. My garden is too narrow and small to have one now. What i have done is made a bog garden i dug my border on to the lawn about two feet of it which was back breaking work and put a descent polythene down with a few holes here and there and put the soil back and planted it up. Has anyone any ideas on a very natural water feature im not into an urn spouting water

Do you mean before sowing or as the instructions said after two weeks of 20c which i did

i take great delight in standing on a slug or snail but forgot myself the other morning when i popped out to the shed and stood on two with my slippers not quite the same as my wellies it wasnt nice having to scrape and wash the sole of my slippers!!
