Every year I label my cuttings and seedlings in the greenhouse. I use plastic labels and have  tried using pencil and /Sharpies to write on. By the end of the winter  it is impossible to read because it has faded away. Help . How do you all label your plants.

Problem with climbing rose

I have had a Paul's red climber for a few years growing on the side of my greenhouse on trellis. It has always been healthy and flowered Really well. This year there were virtually no leaves and those that were there fell off and no flower buds either. It looks really sorry for itself . I had the same with two small standard roses in my front garden . Everyone else's roses seem to be magnificent . Help !!!!!

I have a photinia which is about 18 ft high. Over the last couple of years there has been a large amount of leaf loss although these have more grown, however it really does look sad. Has anyone any ideas to help please. It's been in quite a few years .

Damp in greenhouse

Posted: 23/10/2013 at 09:52

Last year I lost a number of plants due to excessive damp in my greenhouse, which is heated by an electric fan heater, and occasionally a parafin heater,

How can I avoid this this winter. Help please!!

Leaking greenhouse

Posted: 10/09/2013 at 11:50

I have had my aluminium  greenhouse for a number of years. Recently I noticed that it seems to be leaking badly - trays overflowing with water after heavy rain.

Last year I lost a number of overwintered plants and I suspect this leaking caused this.

Think it is a maintenance problem - I have not done any

Any advice welcome
